With the increasing competition in the field of artificial intelligence, China has applied robot police in practice to help maintain social order.

During the National Day holiday, the State museum saw a robotic policeman who helped maintain order, and the droid police's rounded body was more like a vacuum cleaner with state-of-the-art facial recognition software.

The police robot can travel at the speed of 18 km/h and is equipped with sensors capable of detecting explosives, drugs and weapons, high-definition cameras, and an expandable stun arm. If necessary, a stun attack can be initiated through remote control. Police robots are mainly used in public places, such as answering the question of passengers in the airport, the passenger face recognition, independent judgment and uploading suspicious information to the security agencies. In addition, it can monitor air quality and weather changes. Researchers at National University of Defense Technology say robotic police are gradually appearing in more public places such as banks and schools.

At present, the police robot market is still in its infancy and the market is expected to reach tens of billions of yuan. However, the challenge is the exorbitant price.
